I've been epoxy coating cowboy boolits with plan old durepox 2k automotive primer with great success. No oven bake just coat after work 3 times one coat a night. Size the 4th night. The next week the coating is hard as.
Now my question is has anyone had success with epoxy coated non gas checked rifle loads? Assuming the lead up to the pressure, is there any advantage over standard lube?

i PC .224, no gas checks in a .22 hornet and a .223 AR I need to chrono these but according to load data over 2000 fps under 2100fps.
the only upside to this for me is not having to use gas checks. I don't PC my handgun boolits b/c they work perfectly fine with TL alox, oh this includes my .44 mag in lever rifle.

The only plus for the epoxy in super light loads is the clean loading and shooting. Now that I know they work I'll probably go back to the 45-45-10 and try some rifle rounds with epoxy when i find time.
