I was wondering if this mold might work in the Beowulf. I've never seen a boolit cast from this mold, don't know if it's a hollow base or not. If the boolit were powder coated then sized, it might work ok if cast from wheel weights or harder. The only mold I have is the Lee 440, I just ran across this one and thought it might work.

Can't say if it would work, but it is a hollow base.

OK that answers my question. Wouldn't want to try it with the hollow base.

The John Ross 400g Alley Sweeper is prime contender if you are using it for hunting or anti-personal. Warning....wear a raincoat if testing on watermelons!

I tried them both foward and reversed in my 500s&w handyrifle loaded on top of 6.4 grains of Unique. Either way they went through 3 1 gal jugs of water. The reversed mine, which is a huge hollow point, left a slightly larger hole. I cast them out of AC COWW + about 6% tin lubed with mule snot straight from the mold. I seated them flush with the case. They worked fine at 25 yards on milk jugs and will shoot half inch one shot groups at any practical range all day. The whole purpose of this project goofing off. It has been really fun. Others may think guns are not toys but mine are.
