I was looking for group purchase information and lucked onto the files of old shooting and reloading books as well as the classic cast bullet posts. Was pleased to find the CE Harris posts on shooting cast bullets through military rifles but when I tried to download the Colonel Harrison cast bullet articles originally published in American Rifleman back in the 60s, they wouldn't download and my laptop reported that there were virii in them. Can anything be done about that?

TIA

http://www.castpics.net/subsite2/ClassicWorks/Hatchers%20Notebook.pdf gave me problems last night and woiuldn't download but did today although I get an already in use message when I try to access. The machine gun book by hatcher stopped internet explorer working.

I just clicked that link and had no issues at all.

I'm using the latest FireFox on my work computer, which is virus-protected out the kazoo.

http://www.castpics.net/subsite2/ClassicWorks/CastBullets-s.pdf which is Harrisons first articles on cast bullets in AR caused my internet explorer to shut down. I use MS Windows with aol and VIPRE antivirus.
I was able to download hatcher's notebook but when accessing it Adobe gives a flawed database message and won't do it.

No problems on Firefox. I found PDF files to load hard on most browsers, and almost impossible on IE.

I would suggest running a deep scan in safe mode with Malawarebytes. I suspect it may be your computer.
