No monster, but it doesn't matter. Model 64 Winchester, my granddad bought new in the 40's.
I killed my first deer with it, my oldest son killed his first deer with it and now the oldest grandson.85619

does it work for a second and third deer too or is it only good for the first one :lol:
it is cool to have a little family heritage like that.

Love to hear stories about family, firearms and tradition. It's great when a firearm is passed down through the generations and becomes an important and integral part of the family's history.
Maybe I missed it, but was the caliber of that fine model 64 mentioned? 30-30, 32 Winchester Special, 25-35, 219 zipper?
