This item MAY interest a few of you.
I've made up a "V" blok for measuring 5 land & groove slugs/boolets.
I hope my pictures come out ok. IAC, I'm offering it for auction, per usual.
I guess the length of time will depend on the response. I'll give a weeks notice before closing.

Thank you Jim.
It's nice to be appreciated.
Yeah!. Trying to incorporate the formular numbers involves a lot of hand work too.
Also, each block is unique and the constant "C" must be derived for each one.

Pepe Ray,
Great idea!
What angle is the V milled at? Is it important? How did you arrive at the constant "C"? Does it change based on the boolit diameter?
Also, where does .8944 come from?
Thanks,
John

Actually there are quite a few 5 groove bbls out there. Where as you may be having good accuracy now, your next purchase may be different. Of course if your having good luck bending up your feeler gages, you don't need one of these.

Pepe Ray sent me a - free - sample as a "thank you" for some old literature and charts I had copied for him. With his concurrence, I took kenjuudo's estimate above of $25 worth of machine work (I agree; I wouldn't set up to make these for less), and sent that amount off to 45Nut to help him with his health expenses. Take that as a strong hint....

I appreciate nice machine work and time spent doing something right. I up the bid too $30.00 for the good of our site. By the way maybe newer members are not aware of the subcategory benefit auctions in swappin & selling, I did not notice it for 7-8 months. I tend to over look things on the page when the cursor is flying across the page like a butterfly on speed.

Wow , I s#$%^@d up, I guess.
Buckndee won the bidding and trans action was concluded.
I've since passed on the "V" blok production to our own 45 Nut.
I'm sure he will be happy to respond to your interest.
Sorry for not making it clear.
