i have read some use a double boler to make there lube, some keep it in a parex continer until needed , then melt in in a microwave and pour it in to there luber. my question is , is there a problum melting it in a microwave? i have 2in x 6 in sticks that i melt that way and pour it is my star sizer. is a double boler better? i am getting some tubes to make 1 in sticks so i cam pour up several at once and do not have to melt every time i get done casting. thanks

Microwave works fine. Plastic water pipe works fine for tubes. I just close one end off with aluminum foil and a rubber band. Timing is important in pushing them out.

here is an idea put pvc pipe caps on the ends of pvc pipe no glue the ends will be hard to pull off without glue i use this set up i make up 10 sets put 1 cap on the down end use a cooking latle to pore the lube in the pvc pipe is stood up in a old cooking for stablety
