I am thinking that the bore ride design may be my only hope for the 375 Ruger and cast. It would seem that the chamber and throat on this rifle are minimum tolerances, I will not be messing with it, as it shoots the 300gr Hornady and Sierra bullets into groups of an inch or less. I have been experimenting with 350gr and a 335gr bullets from The Bull Shop, had reasonable sucess with Ramshot Big Game and the 350gr bullet, but no where near what it gives with the jacketed. This has become one of my favorite cartridges, right there with my Marlin 45/70, and in the course of simplifying my life, it may very well be my #1 go to rifle.

Thought about paper patching? The throat on mine is minimum too, part of the reason I patch. I wonder if anyone ever made a .375 Loverin boolit?

I have shot PP in other calibers, but I have never PP my own bullets. How does the PP work with such a short neck? I love this caliber, and hope to find a workable solution. I really would like a less expensive option for more trigger time.

My boolit is an adjustable length, mould is set to throw 275g. It seats where the base of the boolit is about even with the base of the shoulder. It engages the rifling but I don't remember how much. Chamber on mine is tight and I don't size the cases at all. The as-fired neck tension is just the right amount to hold the patched boolit in place.
I'm pushing it with WC872 lit off with Unique or IMR4198.
I like patching for this caliber so much that I cancelled my order for a greaser mould.

Do you flare your case mouths at all?

No, just deburr a bit. No case sizing at all for my rifle.
