Yep, melt it and flux it. No more white powder.

Ya ever heard of lead-based paint? That white powder is a lead oxide and was used as "white" lead coloring in old paint. Nasty stuff. Melt, flux, & skim.

White lead in paint was "basic white carbonate of lead" not "lead oxide". Just an FYI. Neither is very good for you.
