My Cast, in-line and a chrony

Here's what I am working with: CVA Optima Pro Elite .50 cal, 60 gr equivalent 777 pellets, Win or Rem 209 for ML, alloy is 94-3-3 air cooled, Hornady mag .452 sabots. I also have some Harvesters on order and a few left on hand.

Molds:
MP 45-503 (drops at 285 gr)
MP 454-297 (drops at 321 gr)
MP 45-270-SAA HP (drops at 265 gr)

I chronied the 45-503 at 1830 or so using 2 pellets. Gonna try the other two with the same charge later today.

ML weekend coming up and I'm going out on Sunday with my son. Wish it would cool off! We spent this past Sunday up the tree stands with our bows and saw nothing, owing to 86 degree temps.

Over the next few weeks, I will try all these at 100 and 150 yds. Next Sunday, terrain limits shots to 60 yds or less. I have shot the 45-270-SAA at 100 and 120 a goodly bit last year. Got 1.5" @ 100 yds using 2 f the 50 gr equivalent 777 pellets and Rem primers.

Sounds like a plan, but terrain limits can change with each step especially on a midday stretch of the legs, not saying that there are terrains from stand to vehicle where 60 yds is the longest shot.
