Why no .40 Gas Checks?

It appears to me that .40 gas checks are no longer available from any source. Can anyone explain why?:confused:

Aren't 416 checks for the 40's, 41 mag, 38-40?

I have a partial box of Lyman (gray box) 41 caliber gas checks--no mould for any such critter, but these things just drop in and stay awhile before someone has a use for them--prompting their departure.

I don't recall seeing a "40 caliber-specific" gas check advertised.....maybe the 41 or 416 gets pressed into service (no pun intended), like the 375 checks on my 9.3mm (.366") boolits.
