I am slowly accumulating supplies to start my bullet casting. Since the first bullet I will be casting will be for my S&W .500 I am looking for some gas checks.
Best prices online seem to be about $45 per 1,000.
Does anyone here have a cheaper source?

I'm interested in this as well as I cast for the 500 S&W too. $45 for 1,000 seems a bit high to me, but it's all I've found so far. I was able to buy 100 from a member here that was nice enough to sell me some of his to try out. I shot a few without GC's too and didn't really seem to get much leading at all. Still wouldn't mind having some for heavier loads.
