I was driving out of my subdivision when I saw a woman walking, carrying a bag in her right arm, next to her body. It looked like it might be kind of heavy, so I stopped, rolled down the window, and asked:
"Are you walking because you like to, or because you have to?"
She replied "It's good for my arthritis, and I don't mind it" - and then asked:
"Are you single?"
Well...
I answered "Yes, but I have a girl friend, and besides, I'm too old for you."
To which she answered "Well, I'm almost 70", to which I replied:
"I'm almost 80", and then drove on.
Does an old man good...
