roof for the shooting bench

Decided it was time to put a roof over my shooting bench and picnic table, so I dug up old lumber I had laying around and started this morning around 8, working by myself (one boy is working today he’s a coal miner and the other is in basic training for the air force) so it took me a while but I had this much done by 3. Hope to put the roof on this week.

Looks like it will be great it poured rain today and we shot all day out of my shooting shed/greenhouse sure is nice to beat the weather

I used an old 13' satelite dish for my roof. I put 5 poles into the ground. its just big enough for one person to easily move around the bench. In the winter I wrap 4 sides with plastic and keep warm with just a small propane stove or a lantern under the bench. DR
