Look at what I got yesterday. It is about 300 lbs of #2 marine babbit. It should really harden my WW alloy. Pretty good haul for not costing anything.

#2 marine babbit is basically a generic term used in the dredging industry to designate babbit used to pour shafting bearings. It is not a specific alloy per se but group of high lead content alloys. I should have realized no would know what the heck I was talking about.:???:
