20 grains is about 1450 to 1475 as a prediction.

HS7 isn't in Quickload but is @ 1350 with the Lyman slug using Blue Dot which is probably ball park for an estimate.

louis here is some i got 18.7 2400=1510 with 34800 psi from hercules reloadersgiide 1992
20.6 2400=1248 --37200 this out the new lymanand it is max
a very old lyman is 19.4 2400=974----23500
the only hs7 load is 16.5= 1394--38200 and it is max from hodgdon 2007
you will note that the loads are differnt vol and also pressure readings why i know
except maybe it is thay were useing differant lots of powder or guns

The posted data variations are exactly why I was asking.
16.0 Ranch Dog 250 and 21.0 of 2400 is a winner as is 16.0 of WC820 Fast (think HS7 data) and 429421 (real Lyman, NOT GB buy).

Two 200 pound (WAG) pigs under the bird feeder a few minutes ago. Time for the Lee 310s I see.

EHD in the deer where I hunt, may have to eat prk this year since there are at least 3 wild pigs visiting on a fairly consistent basis.

44 Mag or original 1886 for the harvest?

Which ever you can place the bullet the most accurately at the most likely ranges. Either will do the trick.
