I am seriously considering having the stock (comb area) altered so I can adjust the comb up or down. Does anyone have any recommendations on who to send the stock to for this work?
I want the work to be done on my Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle.

I'm assuming this is on a rifle? And a wood stock? Adjustable combs are quite common on target shotguns, and that is where my experience lies. Mike Sherman with PMS firearms does the best work I'm familiar with. Mike and PMS are mobile as he travels the country doing gunsmith work for the Sporting Clays crowd. You can ship to him but would need to contact him for location. There are several sets of adjustable comb "hardware" available and I would contact Mike through his website e-mail or phone with details about the desired work and follow his suggestions.
PMS stands for "pass my shells" by the way.
Good Luck,
Rick
