Sunny day, so away we go.
4:1 Pure lead to Chilled shot -Bumpo's excel sheet gives me BHN 9.1
Why this combo? I have about 20kg of each, dont reload shotty. Saving WW for the rifle boolits.
They dropped all square shanks and a mere shake from the smoked and well warmed mould-Lee TC 230 gr
A mate needed/ wanted to PP for his .303-not having a mold for that,we decided to use my lee .309/1R/170 gr. as shown on the upper glove
The Lower glove has water quenched .45 and those in the tin are air quenched 45 (approx BHN 9.1)
Will lube with Lee /Alox and the Recluse Texan's fav formula

b. I find if you read a bit ( I mean a fair bit) and follow instructions, the results are outstanding.

I spent a lot of time soldering wire onto switchboard jacks in the early 1960s. When you dropped some molten solder on your pants or your socks, there was nothing you could do but scream. If you jumped up, it was way too late. To this day I have never cast a bullet while sitting.
