I will say the beginning was more exciting than the end! I thought the grain on the native cherry ran thru better than what came out. Oh well you win some and alot just finishes out so so. I will be satisfied with the grain (the inside of the grips really look good) and I kept the grips fuller and the gun feels better in my hands then the originals. Some sap is in the wood and looks like a speck of oil. The wood is rock hard so I tapped the opposite grip to recieve the screw. On till I get motivated to do it again it is good enough for now.
