When talking to gun smiths & T/C custom barrel makers , say "cast bullets" and you can image their eyes glazing over and rolling back in their head.

The optimum will be the slowest twist that just stabilizes the cast bullet across the expect range of use...

666 that's going to be a devil to get to shoot! I'd use a 1:11 twist for your velocity

The only trouble is no one makes a 1-11 as a standard item, plus while one program says a 1-12 is in the middle of the stability range, the other say's it would take 2000+ fps to stabilize the .666 " bullet.
