Hey everyone, looking to hook up with any michigan members who would be interested in shooting hunting, casting, fishing or just bsing about said topics. As some of you know I just moved back to my home town on a little farm, everyone I knew is gone as some of the best hunting land. Anyhow if anyone is interested in hunting and shooting with a cast member is love to hear from you. I'm a decent guy, piss poor shot, good caster, tell great jokes and a help of a cook. My daughter shares our love of the out doors and my wife is nice once you get past her glass eye and drinking problem.

hey-Hey!!!,
I am just SE of Ann Arbor. Not much interest in powder burners, but Air Guns...oh heck yes...:) 20, 22 and 25 cal for the time being. Boolits for the two bigger ones. The liddle ones are evidently a bit of a chore to cast...though that is all I have experience with for the time being.
cheers,
Douglas

Nagantguy,

You might want to think about posting this "Call Out" in a couple of other areas on the forum and linking to this one. Not everyone visits Our Town. Certain boards on this form have their own regulars. A wider net needs to be cast!

09-13-2013, 07:05 PM
thanks ya'll, I may cast a wider net, really miss the Marine Corp just cause there was always a buddy around to do something with. we should have a game dinner this fall, Ohio and Indiana can come, they have to pay a cover. Also tomorrow my daughter takes her hunters safety. squirrel is on Sundays menu.

There does seem to be quite a few of us on here, just scattered all over the mitten. :bigsmyl2: I'm up in the pinky about 5 miles from the Sleeping Bear Dunes
and actually less than a half mile across the road from the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Forest with thousands of acres of land to hunt on. :bigsmyl2:

Not braggin, just sayin and hopefully I can get my health back enough to hit some of my old spots again since you can't take any wheeled vehicles of marked roadways you need to be able to hike it and some of it can be pretty tough going so I spend a little more time on a couple of farms I have permission to hunt so I can get a little closer by venicle.

My brother Wells and I are in the Lansing area. But he calls Luther his second home and I hang out on Bois Blanc Island all I can. A get together sounds like FUN. Maybe a Breakfast/cookout and range day? Clint

Hello from Manton MI. (north of Cadillac) I spend the summers here. I think a gathering should take place where we could just B.S. and share a meal cooked on the grill. I mean who doesn't travel now and then.

This is Julie, Mrs. Gray Wolf.
Born and raised in Laingsburg just south of Lansing. My brother lives in Byron, my son in Owosso and my Dad lives up in Ludington.

I moved to Maine with Sam in 99 and we have stayed put. I think it's the moose, grins......

But yeah, lots of Michiganders on the forum. All really nice guys. I sorta miss Michigan some days.

You all have a great bbq and think of me.

Born in Detroit in '43, when the city was still a HUGE part of "The Arsenal of Democracy", and a functional city in the bargain.

Spent the remaining war years with my Mother's family in Houghton, and left there around '47 when my Dad finished his Mining Engineering degree at Michigan Tech after his discharge from the Army.

Being a Canadian (and recent vet of the Canadian Army) he moved us to Canada and its mining towns, where I remained until '97. Still have MANY relatives in the UP, some of whom I've never met.

This thread is teaching me some new Michigan geography!
