Auto body lead ??

I know few if any auto body shops use it any more but
Anyone know the make up of auto body lead ??
I was given a some ( about 40 1 lb peices)
From the nail test and bending the peices it is like 50/50 solder

If 50/50 I can add to WW for added tin.


Second question , What is pure lead going for ?
I bought a 100 lb ingot

So far as I know, socalled "auto body lead" is just 50-50 solder.

most auto body lead is 40 60 or 30 70 tin lead .if you have a name on a stick it comes up in a search engine ............. Dean
