Well tonight I went to a friends to play Texas Hold'em Poker

No big winners , I won $2.75 or so ( Blinds were $ .05 and $ .10 )

But the thing that got me was I kept getting the same cards

In a 12 game strech ( about )
I was dealt the same Ace and 2 of Clubs , 3 times

I even won 2 of those hands :bigsmyl2:

Any guess what the odd's are for getting the same 2 cards 3 times ??

The odds are pretty good if you're not watching the dealer's hands! Just kidding! I'm sure it was a friendly local game. But the odds of that happening are astronomical!

Now if they had been "good" hands, I would say to buy a lottery ticket. But with an ace and a 2? Not so much! :)

The true odds of getting the same two cards 3 times
are

(52x51)x3 or close to that number...

The odds of you winning with those cards in your hand are slightly higher...
