I just can help myself. Something about this whole .22 Hornet thing that has me excited as a kid the night before my first hunt. This is just plain FUN!

Very nice! If you don't mind me asking, what mould are you using? How many grains?

I will post results early next week after shooting this weekend.

I have (10)ea loaded up with from .7gr to 1.1gr of Unique. The Lyman 225438 is seated to touch the lands in all rounds. Also have (50) loaded with J-words, 9.5gr of Re7, and varied seating depths in increments of .010". This load already chrono'd @ 1711fps. SPP in all. Privi brass. I havn't been this excited about shooting in a couple years.

That is exactly how I felt when I cast my new Mihec 316410's (130 gr. 30 cal.) "Cute as bug's ear!"

I haven't cast a boolit that small before. Not near as small as yours though!

I do like the Hornet, though I have never owned one, I would like one.

Are you shooting those barefoot or have you got some checked as well?
