In just a little over an Hour I was able to cast just a little over a thousand Bullits with my H&G Ten banger. Tomorrow I'll size, lube and load them and then a day at the range.

Good shooting

Very nice Lindy. Welcome to the forum. Heavy mould, isn't it?

That's a great mold guide on that pot! I need to cobble something better together for mine to make using the 10x H&G I've got more user friendly...

VERY nice !

I bet that mold sure drains that pot rather quickly !

I was also about to welcome you to the Forum but then noticed that you have been a member for 8 years ! :)

That is one super pot and a magnificent mold to go with it; the entire setup is well organized. And the quantity and quality of the bullets are excellent. H&G 6 and 10 cavs when they get up to temp can really deliver and the rejection rates are low. Definitely worth every cent spent for one and they are a joy to own and use. The mold guide that you have is an excellent and necessary accessory. My own Saeco serves me well for my one and two cavity molds, but I go to my pro-melt for the larger molds as they definitely go through a lot more melt in a short time. Congrats to you for excellent organization and good work. LLS

Nice bunch of bullets and I'll bet you'll have them sized and lubed in short order too, I know you've got a bullet feeder for your star luber, got it from me a couple years ago, good job Lindy, hope all is well in your part of the world.

As my dad used to say, not much wrong with that! WC's are my personal favorite to cast - that mould must be a delight to use. What species of gun will have the pleasure of delivering those?

Holy cow! Does that mold come with it's own hoist?:kidding:

I'd consider myself blessed to have a piece of history like that, functional and old.

Very nice setup indeed ! I only run H&G six cavity and have a mold guide for it , your guide is very impressive to be sure . For longer that one hour sessions I have a LEE ten pound I melt ingot in and transfer melt to the larger pot . Works pretty fair .

I'll be shooting those wadcutters in a Smith & Wesson Model of 1902 first change, .38 Special, Target Pistol with a Five inch barrel and has the smothest trigger pull that You can imagine. For a Pistol that is over a hundred years old it still shoots a nice tight group. I'll be loading them with 3.3 grains of bullseye powder for about Seven Hundred and Fifty Feet per second. I have one of my Star Reloaders dedicated to loading that particular boolit.

Good shooting

Lindy, that does sound fine!

I've got the same mold, and a similar S&W first change target. Mine was nickel plated at some point, but does still shoot very well.
