Got the urge to straighten up once again and came across my derelict scope accumulation. Some were missing the turret/adjustment covers so set about trying to locate a few on Google search to no avail.

Looking at all the water bottles I had, the caps were all too big. After a glass of "thinking water", I got looking in the cupboard. Tomorrow, I shall hit the Star Mercantile and purchase 2-bottles of Western Family brand Soy Sauce (light of course for us geezers) that has the correct size cap to fit the turrets on one of the scopes that was missing the covers.

(Some dumb a** left them on the bench at some range somewhere in the western United States). Of course, the thread size is different but since it is plastic, we will use the principle of-"Nothing holds so tight as a good cross threaded bolt!" and at least have a rainproof cover for the adjusters. The caps are even black!
