The right height to catch a crotch full of melt.

I like it. I'm currently using a bar stool, but thinking of lowering the entire operation to a sitting level and just getting a nice leather apron, or maybe just buying 3 or 4 thick tablecloths at Thrift Store for a buck (think 'disposable'), and covering my lap/feet. I ladle cast, so I know that I splash from time to time, so I would need the protection. The wheeled stool looks like a great thing. 8-)

Actually, it's adjustable. You can spin the seat and it goes up or down. Found and bought it at an auction last night. Was using a rolling cushioned stool. I was happy with the stool just couldn't pass this up.

I've seen those sold in gardening catalogs.

I have 3 of those. They becomes a tortue tool when the beans and peas are ready to pick in the garden. The grand kids and myself usually pick the garden and on a good year we get between 6 to 10 five gallon buckets full per picking. The oldest grandson was 11 this year and really hates to pick so I have to keep encouraging him until we are done. He stays well hydrated because he takes plenty water breaks.

Never thought about using it for anything else.

Nice! I am currently sitting on a half of a 5 gal. bucket of drywall primer that has gone bad. How do I know it has gone bad? It has a slight crack in the lid and the odor is like a dead animal.

I thought of that too. The lid definitely is the culprit though.
