The local VFW hosts a car show once a year in the high school parking lot as a fund raiser for the VFW. Maybe 20 cars show up, and the ladies auxiliary shows up with cakes and pies to sell. I bought a double chocolate chip cake. Come on over and have a slice. It's good!

There were cars there that I didn't shoot, mostly because they don't appeal to me. Here's the one's that did appeal to me.
This is a small town, keep that in mind when looking.

I'd look good in the green and black Ford with the NC plates.

Very nice. It's tough shooting black or chrome and not ending up in the photo as well.

My vote goes to the Model A Roaster (NOT CONVERTIBLE!) w/Rumble seat. 'Way Cool!

(With an 'OOOgah' horn, no less!)

Right on!! There's a similar show every October in conjunction with a community 'Fall Festival' in Marshall, IL (Pop. 4000). Usually 40-50 cars with a lot of restoration jobs from the 50s and 60s. Total nostalgia for me and the wife.

I love car shows... Good work Trey

Some very nice rides people have set up there.

In my small town in Oregon they had a summer blackberry festival and car show and cruse was part of it.

Now in Arizona you get lots more car shows
- like every weekend if you want to make the drive.

This one is every Saturday night at the local McDonald's on Pima and Indian Bend in Scottsdale, AZ

That's enough as I don't want to take attention from your beautiful shots.

Love those Model As.

Drove one around the Ford hi speed track at the international show in 1962?

Still have an almost new trunk I bought in 63 for sale.

Our team set a new record for assembling one from parts and driving it off the grounds 11 minutes and ? seconds. No ratchets permitted.

Model As forever.

You sure didn't need to add that qualifier, very nice pics of some nice collectables !

=====================================
Here is my classic car Highlight if the week:
My neighbor has this crazy clean, rustfree, original paint, California car for sale...1962 rambler 400 rare 2 door, needs some mechanical tinkering and a interior redo...$2K
I've been drooling over it all last week after he dug it out of his garage and put it up for sale. I would buy it in a heartbeat, if I had a good economical place to store it.

posting just the thumbnails for you to click on to enlarge, so as to not take away from the OP's nice presentation.
