We are rockin and a rollin

Its been a pretty exciting few hours here today. First earthquake 6.6 ,nearly knocked me off my feet but didnt spill my coffee. Second earthquake 5.5 and just a gentle roll. Third came and went pretty mild. This comes on top of the series we has a couple of weeks ago of a similar magnitude. Ive checked the house and apart from a couple of extra cracks in the wall ,all is ok. Ive prepared my emergency supplies ,water food lights ammo etc. Hope it passes.

Its 2.39am Saturday morning here. I think most of NZ is abed. Jeffnz is from Christchurch ,about 4 or 500 miles from here in the South Island so he'll not have felt it and i think 303man is from the central plateu about 2 to 300 miles north of here. He might have felt it but wont be much. Waiting for the big one to come.
