Any pro's and con's? There is one for sale here locally that happens to have the bolt on the right side, and in a caliber that I don't have.
HMMM if I don't have to work tomorrow, I just may have to have it, and find out for myself. lol

Well I picked it up this morning. It is a left handed Abolt, synthetic stock and stainless 375 h and h with a 3x9 bosh and laumb and iron sights (which I like).
It also had 5 boxes of ammo and 60 brass, a box of hornady 270 gr interlocks and rcbs dies. So I should be good to play with it some.

I already had 2 or 3 hundred jwords that I had picked up at an auction and I stopped at a garage sale and picked up a box of brass with 3 unfired rounds for 2 bucks, on the way back. lol.

I have read on here several times that the 375 does well with cast, sooo now I will need a mold.

Thanks for the info on the molds.
I didn't realize they made the abolt in 12 guage.

I bought one in 270 when I was 18 or 19. They were new out. It shot great. I didn't like the glossy stock so it eventually got sold on.
Actually I was 16. I can remember being annoyed that K Mart would not sell me ammo they had on sale for it (store policy) even though the legal age for purchase was 16 at the time.

My first center fire rifle was an A-Bolt in 7mm Remington Mag. This was one year before the BOSS system came out, it was a tack driver. It was also stainless with synthetic stock.

One I my first center fires was/is a browning Eurobolt in 7mm mag. Oil finish stock and a slightly different bolt handle. It's a tack driver too and has accounted for both of my bull elk with hand loaded j words.

It handles great, and I now have a 7mm-08 for its little brother. I seem to have a thing for 7mms.

Got a walnut stocked one in 30-06 with a Leopold 3x9. Makes a great classic bolt rifle.

My father bought me a Rem 700 bdl in 243Win when I was 15. I shot my first deer and my first elk with it. My neighbor insisted if he was going to continue hunting with him that I get a caliber more suited for elk. I sold the 243 and bought a Browning A bolt Hunter in 7mm Rem Mag. I really liked the rifle and wished I had kept it. I ended up selling it when I moved back east to IN where it was shotgun only to hunt deer.
