Alamo Ammo??

I saw the banner at the top of the forum page saying ammo in stock so I took a look at what they had for .22 rimfire. I had to do a doubletake when I saw 22 LR Remington ThunderBolt, a 50 Rnd box for ....... $17.95!!! I read it a couple of times to make sure they weren't pricing a brick but no, $17 bucks for a little 50 rnd box (or am I reading it wrong?)! Oh yeah, $16 for a 50 rnd box of Winchester Wildcat. Prices like this isn't capitalism, it's profiteering plain and simple. I would never do business with these guys.

I saw on ammoseek.com they were at the bottom of the list with "THE"highest prices.

I wouldn't fire Thunderbolt ammo if you paid ME $17. That stuff is the cruddiest rimfire ammo I've ever had the displeasure to scrape out of my barrel.

I've heard bad things about thunderbolts for years. I've never had any issues and fired thousands upons thousands of rounds of thunderbolts from my 10/22. I think I have cleaned that rifle twice.
