Busy day today (casting)

For a change, everything went well and there were few interruptions (mainly the wife). I managed to get 450 41 gr .223 boolits and 250 135 gr 7mm boolits cast today. Those are the numbers after the culling. I also got 100 rounds of 7TCU loaded up too. The TCU loads were 10 rounds each of different weight charges. I'm trying to work up and accuracy load and this is a first run with this particular powder/boolit combo.
Three days ago, I found a nice load for my single shot .30-30. 10 shots grouped in under 1 inch at 50 yards. 7.0 gr Red Dot under a 156 gr Loverin boolit. I set the crimp in the third grease groove so the boolit is sitting out a pretty good way. That old rifle seems to like it. Now I need to load up some more and try them at 100.

For me, when the chores are all done, a day of casting is just what the doctor ordered. Maybe not the respiratory therapist, but it's such a relaxing process for me, and when they turn out well, the reward is just that much sweeter.
