Without sharing too much guys please pray for me and my wife. Pray for strength for us to rebuild what came crashing down. Although I don't do it much, I do believe in its power. Right now I could use all the help I can get.

Many thanks to all. I would not wish these circumstances on anyone. I know I am strong enough, I've done this before. But this time we both want this to work. I just need the strength to carry on with the necessities so I can work through the pain without added stress.

Please pray for yourself also.

I had a mentor advised me to pray even if I did not feel Gods presence. I did get on my knees and humble myself to my "Higher Power". It changed my life!

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. Things are improving, but I am struggling to move forward. There is just so much emotional damage that it is a daily struggle to want to work on it. 10 years of building trust and a life together was destroyed in a single night. I think I am doing the right thing by staying and trying to rebuild. She says it is what she wants and regrets everything and would change it if she could. God says forgive, and i'm trying, but forgetting is not working at all.

Forgetting will be the last to come. Forgiving will what will have to come first. Trust will come with time. hang in there and just go 1 day at a time.

Will be praying for you to make the right decision. If there are no children involved, do not put yourself in harms way. It is clear, there is one reason you would have the right to move on, and this is it. Otherwise focus on the children and you can move on when the time is right or carry on depending on your feelings. May you find peace in the name of our Lord and Savior.

I love my wife with all my heart and don't want to lose the 10 yrs we have. I know it is the one thing I've always said I'd neverforgive, but I love her as much as life itself. This has made her realize how much she loves me and the life I provide. No kids. But I can't stop loving her even after what happened. She is my life, but moving ahead is so hard.

"She wants to change if she could" - is she saying she can't change? She may need help to understand herself. We are all capable of change, it is if we are willing to do the hard work to do so that matters. The issue is not 'can I', it is always 'will I'.

This may very well take years before the wounds heal and your relationship is restored. Restoration is possible but do get help brother and not try to work through this alone, you and your wife.

We are and have been for several weeks in marriage counseling. She wishes she could change the past, she is working towards changing the future for us. As am I.

A good first step is knowing that GOD can do things that we can't. I pray for your marriage.

Prayers for you both. Above all God is able. Always trust in Him.
He will resolve it. Just not your way or by your timing.
He is sovrign and we are not. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

I can't change the past, and I can't change the future. I can change the now, and I can change myself. If I change those things, I change the future!

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. It is great to know there are people that care and support me in this. Our marriage will survive, but I have a lot of emotional pain to deal with. Leaving would end the pain much quicker and much easier. She offers me nothing I can't get somewhere else without all the baggage, except I love her. I need the strength to carry on, one day at a time. Forgiving is easier than forgetting, but neither is in my heart right now. I want to do both, but forgetting will probably never happen. Nothing easy is usually worth having and the things you work the hardest for are usually the best. Knowing things and doing them are not the same however. I am strong, but this is taxing my limits every day.

I will keep you in my prayers! Takes a heck of a guy to share this.
