Finally found a load that my g34 loves. After trying many moulds, several sizing dies, seperated headstamp, with and without pbgc, and 6+ powders.

Shot a 20 round group today.
1.2 inches at 35 feet.
(Noe 125 hp sized .357 with some of Fcvan's al pbgc
2:1 pb/coww w/~3% tin.
Lubed with homemade "everything lube"
5.9 grains power pistol 1.075 oal.
win cases)

Repeated until ammo ran dry.

Always had ccdw drill /idpa / combat accurate.

But now have show up my friends or outshoot wwb or factory load accuracy.

I was beginning to lose confidence in my shooting ability with all the failed loads.
A little overdue for a really good range day.

And to top it off? Won 20 bucks of a friendly wager using the same load.

Good day indeed fellas.

Your sizing the bullet down to .357? What did your barrel slug out to be?

Man 9mm gave me such a headache.
The garand was MUCH easier to get good results with, and so was the glock 10mm/ 300blk.
As arrogant as the thought is, I had it anyway: "people are full of it. This cant be done!" very frustrating.
On the plus side after loading a set that didn't work out (accuracy-wise), and not wanting to pull them. I'd work on speed, multiple target and shoot and move drills which are a lot less concerned with cutting one ragged hole. As a result I move shoot and transition much, much faster than I did. Silver lining.

.355 multiple slugs multiple times. Which is why i originally sized .356, with little luck. The sizing to .357 made marked improvements to group size. But powder choice etc. still had to be worked out.

Nah thats the original batch. Havent tried the widemouth on the 358-125 yet. Just happy to have one load going well! Althogh my nature prevents me from staying away from that problem for long.

Power pistol has done well for me with boolits in 9mm.

Sounds good to me. I have a 100 yard range down here if you come this way. I've shot USPSA at Wilmore a few times, but not yet this summer due to finances.

9mm was the hardest caliber to get running. Like you determination paid off.

Wilmore had those damnable tubes to shoot through. There is a range in danville or just south there boyle county fish and game club. 35 a year membership. Great range.

I don't see why everyone has trouble with the 9mm. I started loading 9s about three years ago with cast. I have had no trouble getting any load I wanted to shoot. I have done the Unique, acc #9, True Blue, and even Red Dot, and have had no problems with any not being accurate. I cast coww and water drop, size to 356 and load on my Lee pro 1000 and everyone who has shot any want me to Load them some. I thinks 2 inch groups at 25 yards is plenty good enough unless you are shooting competition.

Good for you.
If you are able to get 2 inch groups consistantly with all listed powders out of a progressive, in your buddy's guns? Im damned impressed. I'm a shooter. My 34 with a good load can do 2.1 or so outside to outside at 25 yards. With an aftermarket match barrel and heinie sights.
I commend you.
