UPS delivered it this afternoon. Took some pics and it's heating up now.

The probe sits about 1/8 inch above the pot's bottom.

It's a beauty!

Put in about 8 lbs and fired it up. Pretty much stablized in 30 min. It's set for 700 deg.

10 min: 400 deg
15 min: 525 deg
20 min: 754 deg and falling
25 min: 719 deg and falling
30 min: up and down between 697 and 701 deg

I think I am going to find me a breadstick pan for my alloy ingots. This one

is what I have been using. Not a good shape. I can only get two at a time into the pot, owing the the thermocouple support plate. No biggee.

Added two more ingots at the 45 and one more at the 50 min marks (17-18 lbs of alloy total). Temp is 718 deg and falling one hour after initial heat and 10 min after last ingot.

Gonna pour some in an hour or so.

That's what I call a Goobe (goo-bee), good out of box experience.
Have you gotten into the programming, autotrain etc?

Great looking pot. Do you have a link to the manufacture?

No. I think calibration was already taken care of for me.

Isn't that a Lee with a PID added?

I have the same pot, I'm waiting for my led to be mailed and I will get to try it out.
