So, most of you know Okla.had some bad tornados a few months ago tearing up lots of realstate.

There are lineman from all over the USA helping restore power, (a group from Missouri, Arkansas and Mississippi) replaced power poles our area which was not damaged by weather but are 40+ years old.
They replaced one in my back yard today, for that and knowing that all the food thay have had for the last two weeks was hotel/fast food I invited then over and cooked bergers, boy did they enjoy that!! Said we were the first to offer them a meal.
Feed 13 of um, shared a beer and had some good conversition.

They'll be here another week of so, if I get the chance I may do it again.

That is awesome. I dropped off coffee and donuts to the guys working on my street after Sandy went through. But your idea is much better.

I brought pulled pork out to the local crew 2 years ago after 95mph winds went through. I was running on generator and had it better than most in town so I was doing a lot of cooking for everyone.

Jake, I take my hat off to you. I am a Journeyman Lineman and I can tell you that nothing is more appreciated by the crews than what you have done. I'm sure your generosity has improved the crew morale immensely. A happy crew is a productive crew. Well done Sir.

Being a Eagle scout I still try a Do Good Turn Daily! Some of the best ones they never know who was there to help. Clint
