This is the #81--.38 Super "Auto Colt". 127 grains SWC that is patterned after #68 for .45ACP.

I would love to buy a couple of hundred of these, cast in WW, unsized and unlubed from someone who has this mold.

I keep thinking this would be a great bullet for my 9mm AR and my 38 Super. The H&G 68 is such a great bullet for the 45 acp, I just keep thinking it should be great in 9mm also.

Can anyone hook me up?

Thanks,

Craig

This is the #81--.38 Super "Auto Colt".

You can try Ballisticast, their number for the same design would be #681.

They show it on this page:

Ballisticast (http://www.ballisti-cast.com/Bullet%20Designs%20Page%203.htm)

In collecting Hensley & Gibbs moulds for over 20 years, I don't recall ever seeing a #81 for sale.

I just bought one of their molds. It is a thing of beauty to this new caster. I just hate to drop that much money on a bullet I haven't tried.

Let me put it this way...

If I owned a .38 Super 1911 style, that would be the bullet I would use.

Even I would probably break down and buy a Ballisticast mould given no other choice.

Worry that the mould will make good bullets, not that the bullet won't perform. The #68 style is a time proven winner in both calibers (.38 and .45).
