I'm 'bout to buy a Lee mold for my Taurus PT140. Midway has a 175 SWC tumble lube that looks decent. HOW YA' S'POSE IT WOULD DO:roll: to use a .41 cal. conventional SWC and push it through a .401 sizing die? Pushing it through the die is not gonna be an issue or problem as I have a Pacific Tool & Die press that can double as a punch press. Theoretically, I'd only loose 9K. That's a sheet of paper on the radius. That bein' said, I'm thinkin' the lube grooves wouldn't suffer much.

The line forms on the right.:Fire:

I do it and run 41 mag bullets in my 610 all the time. I try not to use bullets any harder then #2 and it works fine.

Size and lube at .410", then try nose first sizing it in a .401. It will elongate some but I've had good luck with downsizing that much.

Sizing a lubed bullet tends to support the lube grooves and minimize distortion./beagle

THAT'S the answer I was hoping for!

Thanks, guys!
