Lol, yes, this is probably the last one of my reloading presses that will have the swaging bullet auto eject assembly.
The No.3 Herter's has proven very reliable for making hollow base swaged boolits, therefore, why not install the auto eject system on it also...I did, and it works great. I have cone shape nose punches made for .44 and .45 caliber. The swaging dies with an ogive in the top inner portion of the die is utilized with this set up. Then if the nose needs any further shaping just pop it into another boollit nose puinch that will change its nose shape to a different contour but retain the HB.
The Herter's shellholder had to have a special coller to allow the assembly to attach itself to the ram piston. It is a bit short in height but seems to be holding up well with press usage.
