Just finished sizing/lubing 600 of my favorite bullet my 250 K-SWC, its an RCBS mold... Aren't they pretty :) Almost too pretty to shoot. Mine weigh in at 255.5 grains on average and mic out at .430 after sizing.

Man, a MARATHON casting session, eh? Ha ha!!

That mold is about one of my most favorite of all time in the .45 Colt. Bought mine a year or so back from an auction supporting this forum and they are just wonderfully accurate in my flattop Blackhawk. Love 'em!

Nice work. Whatcha lubin' 'em with?

If I may ask, what size do they drop out at.

Thank you

gray,

I have two 2-cav RCBS moulds I run, with good fillout they mic at .431-.432 with just a few that mic at .433 mostly with my WW alloy that I add 1 lb of monotype to 5 lbs of WW alloy for my use in my .44

They look pretty bad to me. You better send them to me so that you won't badly disappointed when it comes to shoot them.:kidding:

But seriously, them's are so good looking, they have to shoot well. I like that boolit very much. If I could get it in a four cavity, It could be my only 44 mold.

Those are beauties, sure hope you had your Star fired up for that pile. I just finished a big pile of 452460 from a old 4 cav Ideal. I've got the Star filled up and ready to go, oldest son can shoot them faster than I can pour and size them.

Thompson's Blue Angel smells a lot like blue after shave. I like your outcome there, looks a lot like some of my casting sessions. Takes me a morning to fill one of my 3 lb coffee cans about half full so I can shoot for a month. Looks like some really good work going on there.

Good Luck,
Ron
