Has anyone had a chance to shoot some groups with their .360-220-GB from a .35R or .358? I haven't had a chance to cast with mine yet. I've actually never casted with a 6-cavity Lee mold and I'm somewhat intimidated by it. I was going to cast some RCBS 35-200's this week and thought I'd give the .360-220 a whirl.

I'm shooting a hollow point version of it, but it shoots under 2 MOA with full loads out of all the 35 Rem i've shot it in. All iron or aperture sighted rifles, semi-auto, pump and lever actions.

45-2.1,

What powders are you using to go full throttle and how fast are they going?

Surplus 4895. Don't have the data right now, but it wasn't but about 1 to 1.5 gr. under listed book max for jacketed data for a 220 bullet.

50% WW & 50% pure lead alloy. Water-dropped at 19-20 BHN after a week and air-cooled at 8 BHN. I am experimenting with both.

Which ones (water dropped or air-cooled) did you use to develop the .35 Rem load above?

Both, the air cooled boolit is being tested for varmit loads, in which they disintegrate completely inside a groundhog or coyote. The water-dropped have only been tested in clay banks since we don't have a rifle season here. Those are reserved for out of state use.

My experience with this boolit (all 3 versions of it I currently posess) and upper book 35 rem J-word load data are similar to Bobs results...I am using BLC2 though..My old cut rifled marlin simply likes to go fast...at top end I am carrying just under 1MOA but mine wears 3-9X glass on top.
