Got a little too much tin in my mix, how much does tin change hardness?

Here is a good way to view the effects of tin and antimony in lead upon impact, when all things are equal. (Same velocity)

1-3% tin: think warm plyable taffy.

The same amount tin with 8-10% antimony: think taffy that has been in the refrigerator over night.

How much is "a little too much" ?
What else is in the alloy?

I was casting with pure lead and put a "biscuit" of 40/60 in it. Tried to melt just some if it but it got away from me. Very shiney boolits, looks like I am fixin to kill a werewolf.
