way too windy today for any serious load development, so i turned on two pots(seperate circuits).
a lee pot to feed the rcbs 22 lb pot. preheat ingots on the back of the rcbs, then into the lee. pour the lee melt on to a small container and top off the rcbs!

consistancy in temp helps produce consitant boolits. when you add alloy you typically drop temp, and boolit weight then varies.

i can get my rejects to almost zero when i can maintain temp.

so got out the group buy 434290 6 banger and went to town.

just over 28 lbs of boolits in under 3 hours.....thats just shy of 700 boolits..... warm sprues back in the pot, about two lbs was the max the rcbs was allowed to vary

then jumped over to two double cavity moulds a 314299 and a 311284.......same plan.....keep the main pot full rotate the two moulds........probably 150 of each and then turned off the pot. i did cast a couble HBC's to see how they will fit in a k31( not i think)

life is good

sizing time/lube time
