View Full Version : 1st Melt w/new pot mod

Got out my new smelter today at around 12;30, fired it up with about 162lbs w/w, skimmed off after fluxing about 2lbs dross, you can see my start to finish at around 2;30. Big difference from what I've been used to, fun to even tho the temp was around 80, had several fans going to help me out.75786757877578875789

Hey seagiant, pressman came to town today, had a few minutes to spend with him, he came over to check out the P=PrO, wanted to look at the primer tubes, I also sent him home with a few items to go with his loading tool collection, we may go to the cartridge show in S F's S.D. in Aug, Tom Quigley should be there also, know him quite well.

swaneedb, thanks for the report! Sounds like a real good time. That's an interesting smelter you have there. Is it rectangular? I'd love to hear more about it.
