What Does a Remington Model Seven Weigh Trailside? Scope, sling, full mag?

I am just curious. I know what big green says it weighs, but what does yours weigh?

I know they make some variations in stocks.

Remington stats say 6.5 lbs, but have never found the manufacturer to ever be correct on this.

I owned one for a very short while. I only traded for it because my uncle wanted it. I never weighed it, but it was not something I would have wanted to carry all day. It seemed a lot heavier than any 6.5 pounds. Disregard this post I am thinking of a model 8, and don't remember ever handling a model 7.

Got out the wife's mid-90's rifle. .260, Black stock, 20" barrel, Bushnell 3x9 sportview scope, leather cobra style sling, 4 rounds of 120 gr sierra pro-hunters: 7 lbs, 15 oz.
For comparison, my mid 80's, walnut stocked Model 70 .243 Winchester with the same sling, 4 rounds and a 3x9 Leupold weighs in at exactly 10 lbs.
