Lady has a talent ... dutch history buff came across a bunch of black and white pics at a flea market in Amsterdam and put them together with modern pics in the same location.
Some taken during operation "Market Garden" , WW11 ..

Moments in history are so easily forgotten.

I have sent a message to a friend of mines wife to have him look over the pictures, IIRC, he was there or close to Veghel in '44.

Was hoping at this point in time that somewhere out there ... there is still somebody that would be able to say ... "hey , I was there !"
