Hi Guys!

Just a follow up on my 1917 Blues and a comment or two on my newly acquired stock Remington as issued 1903a3

Followed your advice;
1. Sized my boolits 311
2. weighed and sorted
3. Set OAL to each rifle
4. Changed neck sizing for 2 tho.
tension.
5. Trimed cases.
6. Indexed all dies and boolit mold mark when chambering.

Results 100 yds ;

New never shot by me 19093a3,

Lyman Molds 50/50 COWW/Lino 2% tin
311466 17 grs. H. Universal 3/4" bug hole, one off -1/2"
299 25 RX7 3" ( 1 3/4" if you don't count flyer)
407 13.5 grs H. Universl 2"
467 2.8 grs Red Dot 1 1/2"

So I listened, followed instructions and am now Knocking on what Char - Gar calls Cast Boolit Heavens Door.
Thanks again guys !

P.s. The 1917 is turning in simular results now!

You are VERY welcome !

Now you can do a bit of " fine tuning " and you should be a happy camper.

Thanks,
Ben

One other item of special interest.
Neither H. Universal nor Red dot appears to be position sensitive when boolits are seated to the rifles
required AOL

I like it when folks listen, learn, apply what the learned and have success. Good for you as you now have the keys to cast bullet heaven.

Thanks Char-Gar ! Needed to get back to basics and needed to be reminded of the things I forgot. Best of all I learned that I'm not too old to be taught new tricks.
