After using several Lee molds I ordered a 429421 Lyman mold. Had problems that Lyman fixed for free and now it drops nice boolits. Bought a .45 270SAA mold from MP (Mihec) that drops boolits pretty enough to use as jewelry AND they shoot great too.
Now I'm branching out to a bit more complicated mold. Somewhere there's an NOE 350gr gas checked .460" mold with hollow point and blank pins in the clutches of the postal service. The boolits from it are destined for use in my two Marlin Guide Guns. Hollow point loads loaded to .454 Casull-ish velocity range for my wife and 350gr flatpoints at around 2,000fps for me. Bambi beware.
Does anyone have any advice or experience with this mold or NOE molds in general that a relative newbie needs to know?
There's going to be a hot time in the loading shed this weekend. :D
