Got my 1st 9mm mold in today, a Lee 124gr RN TL 2-cav. Couldn't help myself. Fired up the melter, cleaned and smoked the mold real quick, and popped out about 180 boolits during the commercials of an episode of Copper. My very 1st boolits out of the mold were keepers...

I'm so hooked on this. After starting for my 300blk, I'm looking to cast everything... Basically free bullets... what's not to love...?

Congratulations. Now you need to go out and shoot 'em!

I'll load 'em up once the lube dries. I have several loads ready for testing later this week. Hope to have something ready for competition this weekend. I have 3 matches Saturday. Would be nice to shoot them all for a few dollars in ammo...

Ditto. That and recluse lube are a winner in my book!
I seat mine over 3.5 gr 700x. or 4.2 unique. I think the 700x is way cleaner.

Thanks guys. I'm excited about this round. I'll be using the clay's and titegroup I have on hand to build my loads. I'll be running them pretty light. I don't have micrometers and pin gauges and such, don't even have a sizing die for 9mm yet. Once I figure out the powder coating feasibility on my other boolits I'll make the call on a sizer. I'll be doing it the trial and error way for now. I tumble lubed this batch and we'll see how it goes. I know some folks aren't fans of TL designs and Alox, but I'm doing this on the cheap and plan to keep it that way. I don't know for sure this is for me yet. I'm enjoying it. Not going to spend money on any more equipment though. I'm looking for cheap, easy, serviceable plinking ammo for knocking around the range and shooting IDPA-type matches. I'm not looking for match-grade stuff right now.
