Visiting my best friend in Oregon.

Wednesday we went shooting squeeks. Set up the shooting benches and never moved them. Three hours of non stop fun with 5 of us shooting. When we left there was a large flock of 50+ seagulls cleaning up the targets for us.

Thursday my friend became a grandpa for the second time.

Friday my oldest daughter got engaged. Not my first choice, but sons-in-law rarely are and we will get along just fine. Then also on friday I found out I have been drawn for Wyoming antelope, one buck and 2 doe tags.

Saturday my other daughter got engaged. Must be something in the water. This future son-in-law is a sonar tech on the USS Nebraska. A retired Army guy with a future Navy son-in-law, it is going to be interesting.

Sunday, my brother called and he became a grandpa for the first time today. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

What is a squeek? We've got gophers and prairie dogs, so I'm thinking some kind of gopher or ground squirrel.
