Went to the mountains today chasing snow.

Took the family for a drive up country today. After the rough weather of the last few days there was bit of snow about. We do this every year and have a winter picnic in the little shelter where we end up.

On the way we followed an older Toyota Landcruiser....open top! The guy and his mother were well rugged up but hardy souls:

Lake Lyndon. Was going to have a fish for a rainbow trout but the access road was too deep in snow and I wasn't in the mood for fitting chains:

Great pics Jeff. Thanks for sharing. Time with the girls will pass so fast. Looks as if you're getting the most out of it. Your pic of Bella in the snow reminded me of a game I used to play with my Lab/sheppard, toss a hot dog into deep snow and enjoy the action!

got to say jeff that this time of the year the last thing i want to see is snow. Plenty enough of that last winter. Like yours my dog would probably love it though.
